The Federation of Ibiza Folk Dance and Popular Culture Troupes addresses institutions and the traditional dance troupes of Ibiza, in compliance with the agreement reached at the ordinary General Assembly of the Federation of Troupes held on February sixth, 2019, to state the following:
Since its inception, the Federation drafted and approved Internal Regulations, in accordance with the purposes reflected in its statutes, in order to provide basic guidelines and rules to all federated troupes to ensure the care, respect, and preservation of our traditions.
Among these rules, it is important to highlight:

* All performances carried out by the traditional dance troupes, both within and outside the community, must include a group of members with a minimum of one musician and four pairs of dancers in order to offer a minimum standard of quality and ensure that most dances can be performed.

* Special care must be taken with the making, fabrics, and materials that are as similar as possible to the originals, as well as with the presentation, hairstyles, cleanliness, etc., avoiding objects not characteristic of traditional attire.

* The music for performances must always be live, and no recordings should be used.
In view of the above, the Federation recommends that traditional attire, music, songs, or dances should not be distorted.
