Once again, the Mare Nostrum Folkloric Festival is here, this year taking place on September 16 and 17. Eight folkloric groups, four Colles from Ibiza and the others from Tenerife, Pontevedra, Lleida, and a group from France, are participating this weekend. The Festival is organized by the Federation of Dance Colles and Popular Culture of Ibiza, with the sponsorship of the Consell d’Eivissa and the collaboration of the island’s town councils.

Saturday, September 16

At 7:30 PM at the Caló de s’Oli Auditorium (Sant Josep de sa Talaia)

In case of bad weather, the event will be moved indoors to the auditorium.

XXV IBIZA FOLKLORIC FESTIVAL MARE NOSTRUM, with the participation of the following groups:

· Asociación folclórica Los Doniz, from Tenerife

· Grupo de Música y Baile Tradicional Trébede, from Pontevedra

· Grup Sardanista Estol, from Agramunt (Lleida)

· Provincias do Minho-Chelles, from Chelles (France)

· Colla d’Aubarca, from Ibiza

Sunday, September 17

· At 11:00 AM at Vara de Rey promenade in Ibiza, performance by Grup Sardanista Estol d’Agramunt with Grup Folklòric Sant Jordi de Ses Salines.

· At 11:00 AM at Plaça de Jesús, performance by Grup Folklòric Los Doniz, from Tenerife, with Grup Folklòric Sa Colla de l’Horta.

· At 12:30 PM at the courtyard of the Sant Mateu d’Aubarca multipurpose center, performance by the folkloric group Provincias do Minho-Chelles, from France, with Sa Colla d’Aubarca.

· At 12:30 PM at Plaça de l’Església in Sant Joan de Labritja, performance by Grupo de Música y Baile Tradicional Trébede, from Pontevedra, with Sa Colla de Labritja.
