The Mare Nostrum Folk Festival returns once more, this year taking place on September 17 and 18. Nine folk groups, five Colles from Ibiza and the rest from Cáceres, Murcia, Mallorca, and Menorca, are participating this weekend. The Festival is organized by the Federation of Dance Colles and Popular Culture of Ibiza, with the sponsorship of the Consell d’Eivissa and the collaboration of the island’s town councils.

Saturday, September 17

At 7:30 PM at Port de sa Cala (Sa Cala de Sant Vicent).

In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to the Sports Pavilion of the Sant Miquel School.

· At 11:00 AM at Sant Agustí Square, performance by Folk Group Sant Isidre, from Ciutadella, with Folk Group Sa Colla des Vedrà.

· At 12:30 PM at Sant Carles de Peralta Church Square, performance by Group Estol de Tramuntana, from Sóller, with Sa Colla de Ball Pagès de Sant Carles de Peralta.

· At 12:00 PM at Antoni Albert i Nieto Square in Vila, performance by Folk Group La Serrana, from Piornal, with Folk Group Sa Colla de Vila.
